Message from the Worshipful Master

Message from the Worshipful Master of Lodge Southern Brotherhood No 3311 EC.

Dear W Bro and Brethen All,

At the onset I wish to thank you for having installed me as the Worshipful Master of Lodge Southern Brotherhood No 3311 EC for the year 2006-2007. I wish to assure all of
you that I will perform my duties in the Eastern Chair to the very best of my conscience, loyalty and ability.

I have listed conscience, first; since I am of the opinion that it is your own biggest judge, the Almighty Judge of your own Heart. And, if your Conscience has not wavered the slightest, then you know you are on the correct path. With your Co-operation, Strength, and Advice I am positive that my Conscience will not let me down.

I now wish to highlight three fundamental principles of the Order, which I expect you all to strictly adhere to, as under:

a) Your belief in the Supreme Being for which there is NO compromise whatsoever. b) Your Obligation, that Solemn Oath taken on the Volume of Sacred Law or on that
Sacred Book of your Religion, is sacrosanct; today, tomorrow and till you are called upon to the Grand Lodge above.
c) In any Lodge, nor at any time in your capacity as a Freemason will you advance
your views on political or theological aspects.

And last, but not the least, I trust that all of you and particularly all newly made Master Masons have read the Book of Rituals given to you, in its entirety. I can assure you that having done so with faith, belief and sincerity, you will be a better and honourable member of society.
